Day 2: Witchling Handler
For whatever reason, nothing in Witch Hunter has a DF greater than 5. Arcane Shield and attuned hopefully combine to keep them alive longer than their stats suggest.
Counter spell is a solid aura that most of the keyword has which serves as a nice bit of hand drain. I don’t tend to hire witchlings so the other two front of card aura aren’t that big of a deal until Witchlings have been summoned in.
Runic blade is a nice attack for what is ostensibly not an attack model. 3 very solid triggers, a heal, its stat 6 and the dmg is perfectly serviceable. She has a gun, because this is Guild and sometimes models just have a gun.
Withfire, there we go. Ignore Los and concealment and just set stuff on fire. It’s not gonna set the world on fire (see what I did there?) but like it’s fine. And it doesn’t specify friendly or enemy so you can still set Klaus on fire and you can charge up Hot Roddy.
Consolidate power? I really like this ability, because it doesn’t say other. As long as you’ve got a model ahead of you, you can push towards them. No it’s not leap, but this is the Guild and we have to improvise.
